A sneak preview for people following my neocities profile. My next set of reviews is about plumbing the depths of an alien planet, investigating the big bang like it's a crime scene, and a murder mystery set-up that becomes a meditation on mortality.
I may or may not include some of my pixel art exercises. I've been training my pixel art skills by making little critters based on medieval pilgrims' badges -- you can see some of them here. For me, it's helpful to model my art on something strange, so I don't fall into the trap of drawing what they're 'supposed' to look like. I tried to sketch some of the critters from In Other Waters in the same way, with mixed results.

I couldn't figure out how to fully unfold the Bivalve Bloomvane, alas. The creature sketches are a reward for fully completing an entry in your taxonomy record, which I'll have to mention. Until then, it's left up to your imagination what these creatures look like, because of the unique UI.
